Having degrees in both Physical Therapy and Psychology, Lisa has found that teaching yoga truly integrates her lifelong learning of the body and mind.  She is passionate about helping people uncover their innate joy, and she has facilitated this through the use of multiple modalities including bodywork, dance, and yoga for over 30 years.  In addition to her RYT 200, she has attended multiple teacher trainings with master teachers, including Patricia Walden and Todd Norian, and has certifications in Yoga 4 Teens, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, and Yoga4Cancer.  Being a cancer survivor herself, Lisa has had surgical treatment for Renal cancer and is now living with chronic kidney disease, but her yoga and meditation practices have enabled her to thrive and live the best possible life! She is inspired to guide others gently into a practice that focuses on self love, maximizing health of the body, mind, and spirit.  Lisa is also a wife, mother of two beautiful adult daughters, and grandmother of three amazing grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, foraging, and nature.
