Jamie Navarro

Jamie Navarro (she/they) - Jamie first came to yoga more than twenty years ago as a former competitive swimmer looking for a different way to move. What she found was much more than a physical practice. Yoga became a source of grounding through life's challenges, helping her navigate stress, anxiety, burnout, and major transitions.

After nearly two decades in the corporate world, Jamie felt called to build a life centered on helping others reconnect with themselves through movement, breath, and mindfulness. Today, she teaches yoga, barre, self-massage, and restorative practices throughout Southern Maine and is the founder of Renew & Restore ME.

Jamie believes yoga should be accessible, welcoming, and free from pressure to perform. Her classes encourage curiosity, choice, and self-compassion, creating space for students to connect with their bodies and nervous systems in ways that feel supportive and sustainable.

When they're not teaching, Jamie enjoys spending time with their family, walking local trails with their rescue dog, and tending to their garden. She is honored to support Sea Change Yoga's mission of bringing trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness practices to communities that may not otherwise have access to them.
