JUDE MARX

Jude Marx was born and raised in New Mexico and now resides in Southern Maine. Jude completed their 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training through the Portland Yoga Project in 2023, followed by an advanced sequencing intensive and a Yin Yoga training. Jude has taught through Sea Change's Queer Youth Yoga Project and teaches other yoga classes to young people. Jude believes in the power of yoga for healing and self-connection. Their classes meld play, exploration, and grounded, intentional movement. Jude also teaches creative writing to young people through The Telling Room and has a background in teaching English to multilingual learners. Their range of teaching experiences inspires and informs their yoga classes and their commitment to building justice-oriented and liberatory teaching spaces.
