Katherine Raker
Katherine (she/her/hers) is an LCPC who works clinically with children and adolescents. She completed her masters in Counseling from Boise State University in 2020, her 200 hour RYT from Frog Lotus Yoga in 2017 and completed her 300 hour Trauma Centered Trauma Sensitive Yoga certificate from the Center for Trauma and Embodiment in 2025.
Born and raised in Brunswick, Katherine spent ten years throughout the Mountain West, taking intermittent breaks from her yoga practice to be present in nature and work at furthering her clinical career. Inevitably, the clinical work guided Katherine back to her movement practice as she grew to better understand and appreciate that trauma, adversity and all lived experiences, root in the body as well as the brain. Katherine is passionate about working with families adolescents and anyone having to engage with larger systems, be it a work environment, a social safety system, justice involvement etc. Katherine’s mission in life is to encourage people to integrate movement into their daily lives, not as a luxury, but as a necessity and a survival mechanism, and to find ways to make these practices actually accessible.
